We “discovered” the Brasserie des Changes in Chartres while walking around the old town center. When it started to rain we entered the small restaurant for shelter and to have a drink until the shower passed. The place was relatively small, clean, and it had a little bit of charm going for it. The bar area was comfortable however; the bartender did not speak much English. After a glass of wine we relocated to a table for dinner. The service was good and the staff was pleasant. One of the servers spoke excellent English and we were lucky in that she was working our table. The menu selection was somewhat limited but the dishes that we selected were prepared very well. I definitely recommend this restaurant to those of you that will be traveling to this part of France.
